Lifestyle & Beauty January Favourites!

Hi friends, I know, I know, another blogger talking about their monthly favourites, however, I’ve never done a monthly favourites before so I’m going to see how it goes! I thought instead of just doing beauty I’d just put everything in one post then at least it’s not just based around one thing. I’ll start with beauty and end on TV – Just so that we do have some sort of order in this post haha.

Dirty Works Body Wash & Body Butter

My first beauty favourite is by far Dirty Works body wash and body butter, I got this for a christmas present and I’m not going to lie, I didn’t like it, but being moved out and all it was getting used, purely so it didn’t clog up space. It came in a lovely set with a wash bag and one of those shower poofy things (which I’m also loving). Anyway, after having nearly finished the body wash I have found I’ve actually loved it, it’s so bubbly and I wasn’t keen on the smell at first but that grew on me too, I love it. Also the body butter is amazing, smells amazing and it soaks straight in, the first moisturiser I’ve used that’s actually made me want to moisturise. (lol should’ve just done a review).

Dove go fresh Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena deodorant

Judge me all you want for putting a deodorant in my monthly favourites, I don’t care, at the end of the day we all SHOULD wear it (not compulsory, but that’s up to you). All I can say is that this smells glorious and I can guarantee whenever I need deodorant I will be buying this one.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I’m 90% sure this is probably in most peoples favourites (or used to be)  and I have put it back in mine as I forgot about this product for a few months and have only recently started using it again, honestly how fresh does this product make you feel?

Nivea Raspberry Lip Butter

This lip butter also smells glorious and I have so much needed this for the past few months my lips are forever grateful for this, it’s just a shame it doesn’t taste as good as it smells.

Fujifilm FinePix S1730

I’m so shocked this camera is actually in my favourites, photography has never been an interest for me until making this blog and now I just want to take pictures, so I’ve been doing a lot of learning how to use a camera, I’ve certainly not mastered it yet but I’m getting to know the settings and what each and every one does, luckily the camera was a hand me down from a friend, I love it but boy it’s battery operated and I feel like they go so quickly! Also any photographers or anyone who knows how to use a camera, I highly appreciate any tips you have.

Playstation 4 / Sims 4

This would make it into every monthly favourites, after nearly having to buy a new one I realised how much I actually use this thing. At the minute I’ve been playing a lot of Sims 4, I’m a massive fan of the sims and as I have the shittest laptop going, it can’t run sims very well so I love that I’m able to have it on console, though it’s one of those things where I go through massive phases with, after I’m done with it I probably won’t play it again for another 6 months.

SAS: Who Dares Wins

I’m obsessed with this show. A show about the SAS and part of the selection they go through including Ex-special forces soldiers and the tasks they have to do to see if they can handle it physically and mentally, it’s amazing and deep.

Celebrity Big Brother

It’s nearly over but I’ve so much enjoyed this series! It’s had me in fits of laughter and they’ve had some proper characters in there. I love a good chat about CBB.

And my blog! But I feel like that goes without saying, so that sums up my January favourites!  Let me know one thing you’ve been LOVING this month.

Much love ♥

  1. Normally when I see posts about beauty products I skim through them because I’m not the target audience. But I read every word of this one because you made it entertaining and honest! One thing I’ve been “loving” this month is a show called Undercover Adult, where people in their early 20s go back to high school and pretend to be students.

    1. Thankyou!!! It means a lot and though you’re not into these kind of posts I’m glad you still enjoyed it. That actually sounds pretty good I wonder if the UK have a show like that .

  3. I’ve never done a monthly favorites either but I want to write one up for my blog as well! I was TRYING to record a video for my youtube channel to go along with my blog but I am having so many frustrations today with recording… nothing is going right!! lol it makes me wonder if maybe I should just stick to blogging and not even bother trying with Youtube, lol.

I MISS THE SIMS! i have the sims 4 on my imac but I have yet to even play it. SHAME! I bought it when it was 50% off but I haven’t really had much time to play… that game can really take up so much of your time 😛
